DATPROF Integrate is a powerful ETL tool that consists of two applications. DATPROF Integrate Developer for development and DATPROF Integrate Runtime for exploitation.

Development

DATPROF Integrate Developer

DATPROF Integrate Developer is the data process modeling tool, enabling a database developer or administrator to model data flows for Oracle Databases.

DATPROF Integrate Developer contains predefined ‘building blocks’ that can be used to design a data integration application. DATPROF Integrate Developer enables the developer to use standard blocks like loading and merging data, recognition of delta’s and processing them, restore primary keys or groups, maintain the history across a datawarehouse over time, address validation, name correction, filtering, mapping and so on.

DATPROF Integrate Developer can even be used for quality analysis such as reporting constraint violations and data distribution reports.

ETL-Object Library

DATPROF Integrate Developer contains an extensive ETL-Object Library with predefined and highly-configurable building blocks.

Meta Data Repository

DATPROF Integrate Developer is based on a meta data repository. The data model, process model, constraint model and building blocks configuration is implemented using meta data rules. This enables  DATPROF Integrate Developer to support 100% code generation.

Deployment

DatProF Integrate Runtime

DATPROF Integrate Runtime is used to schedule and run the generated application within a DATPROF Integrate Runtime environment. DATPROF Integrate Runtime contains an installer, an advanced scheduler, an error-handler and a monitoring tool.

Scheduler

DATPROF Integrate Runtime uses an advanced scheduler that schedules all (sub)processes as part of the designed work flow. The scheduler supports parallel processing and advanced load balancing.

Monitor

DATPROF Integrate Runtime applications can be monitored by operators either using a terminal window, a graphical monitor tool or by e-mail and SMS alert interfaces.

Generated application

DATPROF Integrate Runtime is being 'configured' by the generated application from the DATPROF Integrate Developer meta data design.

System Architecture (Example)

This figure shows an example architecture that integrates three different data sources into a enterprise warehouse. Multiple data marts are output from this data warehouse.

An architecture as situated above can be easily designed and deployed by using DATPROF Integrate.
